The sun was shining today as the Junior Boys took to the trails at Heart Lake Conservation Area for the 2012 OFSAA Cross Country Championships.  The junior boys race had a strong field and the competition was tough.  The lead changed hands a few times in the woods in a very tactical race but as the athletes came out on the beach Jared Ruest of Georgian Bay was out front of Muhumed Sirage of Montcalm and Erindale's Braydon Rennie.  In the final kick however it was Sirage, followed by Ruest and Rennie in a close race to the finish.  The bronze is Rennie's third OFSAA medal in the past six months, having taken the silver medal in the 1500m and 3000m at the OFSAA Track & Field Championships in June.
