Erindale Secondary's Braydon Rennie has begun the track season in fine form with a 1st place at the Birchmount Invitational at York on February 10th, winning the MB 1500m with a time of 4:28.24 beating Ben Freemantle of Sacred Heart by 0.7 seconds.  In a rematch two weeks later at the 91st Highlander meet at Copps Coliseum, Hamilton it was Ben's turn to steal the gold, nipping Braydon at the line by 0.1 seconds in an exciting photo finish.  Times were 4:26,21 and 4:26.31 respectively.  Braydon's early results show lots of promise to take him all the way to OFSAA.
